Organic Tallow
Tallow, or beef fat, provides a healthy and sustainable cooking oil due to its high smoke point. It is also a great source stearic acid (long chain fatty acid), omega-3 & 6 fatty acids in the form of CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) and is rich in vitamins A, E, D, K & B1.
So what is the difference between the two products?
Our Organic Bone Broth Tallow is a byproduct of our beef bone broth production. When the broth has cooled, we remove the fat layer that settles on top, filter and refine it and voila - a delicious, healthy cooking fat. Our bone broth recipe creates its yellow colour and the robust flavour. As we only get a certain amount of fat from each batch of bone broth, there is a limited supply!
100% Certified Organic Grass Fed
Our premium tallow is sourced straight from the butchering process of Cherry Tree Organics beef and utilises the suet (kidney fat). Naturally white, we gently heat to render the suet and then filter to create this lovely, silky natural tallow.
Often referred to as an “old fashioned fat”, historically tallow was the primary fat used for cooking and frying thanks to its unusually high smoke point of 200 degrees, making it a healthy option for these cooking processes.

Simply add a tablespoon to your roasting dish or frypan and use as you would any other cooking oil but with the addition of extra flavour and benefits!
Tallow is also a soothing and healing base for body, face and beard balms and can be used topically to treat various skin conditions. We are in the process of creating a range of these products so stay tuned or have a go making your own using our tallow as a base!

Our certified organic bone broth tallow is a byproduct of our beef bone broth production process but it is by no means a waste product but has both practical uses and benefits of it’s own!
Often referred to as an “old fashioned fat”, historically tallow was the primary fat used for cooking and frying thanks to its unusually high smoke point of 200 degrees, making it a healthy option for these cooking processes. While tallow, or beef fat, is naturally white the beautiful yellow hue in ours comes from the turmeric used in our beef bone broth recipe.
Infused with our signature broth flavour from the marrow, bones, vegetables and spices we use, our bone broth tallow is an excellent and sustainable cooking fat for frying and roasting and can be used as an alternative alternative to olive oil, coconut oil, ghee or butter.

The Organic Tallow is white in colour as we are obtaining the suet and beef fat direct from the Cherry Tree Organics butchering process. We then gently heat to render it and then filter. Voila. Natural tallow. This is similarly a fantastic cooking fat and is also a soothing and healing base for body, face and beard balms and can be used topically to treat various skin conditions.
